How to login for the first time to the Members section of the Tidewater Genealogical Society website:
Login Name
Your login name is the first initial of your first name, followed by your last name, all lowercase. For example: If your name is John Smith, your login name is jsmith.
Password
Your password is the first letter of your first name, your ZIPcode (first 5 digits), and the first letter of your last name, all letters lowercase. For example: John Smith living in ZIPcode 23693 would have a password of j23693s.
The first time you login you may want to change your password. We also recommend that every time you log in and each time you renew your membership that you check your membership profile for any needed updates. Click on the "Profile" link under the "Members Only" section. The Profile screen will open.

It is important that an e-mail address be provided on your Membership Profile in order to receive notifications of meetings, events, and the Virginia Tidewater Genealogy publication.
